Campus Guide
UMDS boasts total area of 164,454 m2, equivalent to 25 soccer fields
This vast campus accommodates facilities to lead productive and fulfilling campus life. Students can lead a full school life by working on exams of official qualification and club activities as well as studying.
Bell Tower
“Bell Tower,” with no bell in spite of its name, is a symbol of UMDS, whose motto is thinking
outside the box. UMDS is a favorable venue to concentrate on your study without worrying about authority or time.
RYUKA HALL
The hall, which can accommodate 700 people, is available for lecture meetings, events and club performances by the students.
Media Center
This is the library dedicated to electronic or AV information. You can retrieve newspaper or magazine articles online or searching files inside archive.
Library
The library stores 200,000 books including specialized books, and is used by many students especially when they have to prepare for report or examination. The library closes at 8 p.m.
Athletics Building
The building, containing arena, martial art gym, studio, measurement room and other ulti-purpose rooms, is available for variety of sport events.
RYUKA DINING
Café-like comfortable space extending over 2 floors can seat 1200 people, and students use this space to socialize or relax between lectures.
Artificial Turf Ground
Ground with night lighting is used for soccer, American football and rugby games.
Lecture Hall
Lecture building has class rooms of various sizes. Hall that can seat 200 or more people is used for liberal art classes.
